for detailed information and fees artist residency: My arts integrated residency programs join a specific arts focus with a specific core cirriculum need and/or concern. I have residency programs in visual arts and filmmaking (stop-motion animation, experimental & documentary). All residency programs are adaptable, allowing for similar curriculum connections to be “dropped in". The lessons consider National and State arts and core-curriculum content standards, and are adaptable to fit specific educational requirements by grade level. I can instruct up to 25 students during a session, if the students are divided into small groups and there is an assistant. Students will be actively involved in development, pre-production and production; I execute the post-production of the projects to create DVDs and digital video files. I have six years experience as a teaching artist. In 2009 I participated in the Seminar, “Artists as Educators: Planning Effective Residencies for Students”, designed and presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C. Funding for my participation in the Seminar was approved by the Louisiana Office of the Lt.
